Wendover Ambulance was established in 1987 by Lauara Snyder and Larry Lisk. It started out a small operation but soon grew to a 5 ambulance service serving more than 1000 calls annually. Before Wendover Ambulance's beginning there was not emergency medical service for the area. Wendover Ambulance is unique because it is one of the few remaining privately owned ambulance services. Lauara Snyder is now the sole owner and operator of Wendover Ambulance. Wendover Ambulance is everchanging to meet the needs of the growing communities of Wendover, Utah, and West Wendover, Nevada, and the surrounding areas.
