We have combined the highest technology in patient monitoring with products that make the transport more comfortable in times of emergency. Patient comfort has always been one of our highest priorities. Backrafts attach to our backboards to create a cushion of air between the patient and the hard backboard for spinal immobilization. A techlift gurney provides an air-ride suspension inside the ambulance so that patients in pain are not affected by the bumps in the road. We have all the training and equipment to make patient transports as comfortable as possible.

Pediatric care is an area that is very important to us at Wendover Ambulance. Children require specialized equipment and techniques in patient care. We have equipment for our pediatric patients that help us to exceed the professional standards of care. Oxygen is delivered through a plastic teddy bear to make the experience easier on the child. We carry c-collars that will fit patients from small babies to the largest adult. Stuffed animals are given to kids to help relieve their fears. Kids are important to us, so we are always looking for products that are oriented to pediatrics. We routinely train our EMT's in PEPP (Pediatric Education for the Prehospital Provider) to make sure we are proficient with the best in pediatric care.
