Fleet

We have a fleet of five ambulances. Three of the amublances are used primarily for response to 911 calls, and the other two are used primarly for special events. Below are pictures of some of the different units on scene at some of the varied landscapes around Wendover.

The Bonneville Salt Flats are so vast that it is one of the

few places that you can see the curvature of the earth.

leading to the Ibapah Indian Reservation.

There are three week long races on the

Bonneville Salt Flats every summer.

Wendover has some spectacular sunrises and

sunsets across the varied landscape. The

Bonneville Salt Flats are an excellent

place to watch the stars.

There is a mountain in the background named the floating

mountain because it appears to be floating because

of the mirage effect from the salt on a hot day.

Local casinos give people from Salt Lake City a place to

get away. The casinos have deep roots in the history

of Wendover dating back to the 1930's

"Wendover Air Show".

The mountains in the background contain a spring

that supplies water to Wendover. The spring was

originally discovered by the pioneers headed to

Salt Lake City.
